Bio

Angela Caldwell is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Northern California. Her approach to illustration is to tackle every project with enthusiasm, curiosity, joy, and dedication.

Caldwell’s family roots lay in the American South—in Kentucky and Tennessee—but she grew up playing in the cornfields of middle Ohio. Raised somewhat isolated, her imagination was in constant use. She often invented friends in the form of animals or tiny people, crafting worlds for them to inhabit. She feels fortunate to utilise the strengths she developed as a child in her work and she finds as much joy in them today as she did then.
