Bio

Kathy Osborne is an illustrator and artist based in Baltimore, Maryland USA area. She is a mother of two (human) daughters, a dog enthusiast and sushi lover. She earned her BFA and has spent decades drawing, painting, and generally refusing to put down her pencil.

Kathy’s work is bright, bold, and intentionally whimsical, defined by saturated colors, expressive characters, and a hand-drawn warmth where she balances between charm and clarity. Her pieces often hint at a larger story, whether she’s illustrating joyful animal characters, approachable educational artwork, or portraits with emotional depth.

Kathy’s illustrations work beautifully across children’s books, editorial features, greeting cards, packaging, advertising, and any project that needs personality and heart.
