How It Works:

Each cycle is designed to help you experiment, create, and refine, with plenty of support along the way:

⭐️ Week 1 – Sketchbook Week + Live Draw-Along - Explore ideas in your sketchbook Monday to Friday.  Plus, join a live draw-along Zoom for real-time guidance, tips, and interactive support.

⭐️ Week 2 – Assignment Week + Market & Licensing Insights Zoom - Transform your sketches into a focused assignment piece.  Attend a live Zoom to learn how similar work is used commercially in various markets, helping you think strategically about your art.

⭐️ Week 3 – Feedback & Support Week - Receive written feedback on your assignment.  Join a live group Zoom to discuss your work, get personalised tips, and have your questions answered. With time left to make any revisions on your portfolio piece.

⭐️ This cycle repeats four times across the 12 weeks, resulting in 20 sketchbook pages bursting with goodness, 4 polished assignment pieces and a significant leap in your skills, confidence, and creative portfolio.

⭐️ Optional Community Space: Connect, share, and gain inspiration from fellow illustrators.

Terms & conditions

  1. Course dates: This course is for 12 weeks - Mon Jan 5th 2026 -  Mon Mar 30th 2026

  2. Delivery: This course will be delivered via email & Zoom, with materials available on our website.

  3. Eligibility: Open to illustrators aged 18+ worldwide.

  4. Original Work: All artwork must be new, original, and created specifically for the course assignments and briefs.

  5. Submission Requirements: A gallery will be set up on Discord and Artists will upload their responses onto this gallery.

  6. Detailed Briefs: Each Assignment contains full details of what we are looking for - with creative direction on a selected theme. The Assignment will include market suggestions, mood board, colour palette suggestions, presentation and submission details.

  7. Deadlines: There are weekly deadlines for the assignments on this LIVE course - but you will also be able to revisit each assignment and make revisions as we move through the programme.

  8. Ownership & Rights: You retain full copyright to your work. However, Illustrate It Agency may share selected pieces for promotional purposes either online or physically in future course/workshop materials.

  9. Fair Play: AI-generated artwork is not allowed. All work must be human-made. If you submit AI generated art, you risk being disqualified and removed from the programme.

  10. Course costs: This course is currently being sold at £395.00 (GBP). Please note this fee is non-refundable.

  11. Representation Offer: Artists who catch our eye may be offered representation with Illustrate It Agency. Participation does not guarantee representation or feedback.

  12. Professional Conduct: We expect all participants to engage professionally and respectfully throughout the process.

Yes! We encourage the sharing of your progress (of your own work) on social media with our official hashtag. However, this is optional. You will get a new hashtag to use with each assignment and brief. 

What if I miss a deadline?

There are weekly deadlines for the assignments on this LIVE course - but you will also be able to revisit each assignment and make revisions as we move through the programme.

What if I don’t have time to take a course?
