Each of the 4 sections contain 2 bite-sized video lessons designed to guide you through the course - There is one for the story part and one for the products part. They will provide direction, give you industry insights and explain what is expected for each of the assignments and briefs.

Each of the 4 sections contain 2 carefully curated briefs - one contains a story text assignment, and the other is a products brief. These briefs are designed to push your creativity, challenge your artistic range, and reflects the kind of work that catches an agent’s eye - you’ll be creating work that we are actually looking for right now!

Post your responses to each assignment and brief in our exclusive Page to Product gallery on Discord. This is your space to share, connect with fellow artists, and see how others interpret the same creative challenges. You will also be able to request feedback and find out which entries are our Agency’s top picks.
✅ 2 LIVE projects per year
This course is instant access/own pace - but there will also be 2 x bonus LIVE projects during 2025! The LIVE project briefs will appear in the classroom on our website, and will also be emailed to participants. You then have 2 weeks to send us your response to the brief - feedback will be given to a selection of participants on a LIVE event, (dates to be announced).

Terms & conditions

  1. Course dates: This course is instant access - go at your own pace.

  2. Delivery: This course will be delivered in our virtual website classroom.

  3. Eligibility: Open to illustrators aged 18+ worldwide.

  4. Original Work: All artwork must be new, original, and created specifically for the course assignments and briefs.

  5. Submission Requirements: A gallery will be set up on Discord and Artists will upload their responses onto this gallery.

  6. Detailed Briefs: Each brief contains full details of what we are looking for - with creative direction on a selected theme. The brief will include market suggestions, mood board, colour palette suggestions, presentation and submission details.

  7. Deadlines: There are no deadlines for this course. If you participate in the bonus LIVE projects, you will get 2 weeks to create your response for this, followed by a LIVE feedback event - dates to be confirmed.

  8. Ownership & Rights: You retain full copyright to your work. However, Illustrate It Agency may share selected pieces for promotional purposes either online or physically in future course/workshop materials.

  9. Fair Play: AI-generated artwork is not allowed. All work must be human-made. If you submit AI generated art, you will be disqualified from being considered for representation.

  10. Course costs: This course is currently being sold at £64.95 (GBP). Please note this fee is non-refundable.

  11. Selection Process: Final decisions on selected artists for the LIVE projects feedback events are made by the agency, based on artistic style, marketability, and how well the work fits our briefs. Throughout this course, we will be telling you exactly what we are looking for!

  12. Representation Offer: Artists who catch our eye may be offered representation with Illustrate It Agency. Participation does not guarantee representation or feedback.

Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.

Can I post work created on this course online?

Yes! We encourage the sharing of your progress (of your own work) on social media with our official hashtag. However, this is optional. You will get a new hashtag to use with each assignment and brief. 

What if I miss a deadline?

There are no deadlines for the actual course as it’s an own pace course. There are deadlines for the bonus LIVE projects, (it’s 2 weeks), and if you miss it then your entry will not be selected for feedback at the LIVE event.

What if I don’t have time to take a course?

This course is an ‘own pace’ course. You can dip in and out of it whenever you have the time. You will also have lifetime access to the materials, so there’s really no rush!

Will I get feedback?

Unfortunately, we do not have time to provide reviews/feedback on everyone’s work - as this course is own pace, there will be a constant stream of participants! We are watching the submissions into the course gallery though. Plus we give reviews/feedback on the LIVE projects!
