Do I need to attend the live sessions?
No. The weekly live work-along sessions are optional and all sessions are recorded for replay, so you can watch them whenever it suits you.
What if I can’t keep up with the weekly schedule?
The weekly prompts and videos are available through the course platform, so you can work through them at your own pace during the course period.

Do I have to write my story?
No. This course focuses on story development through picture book illustration.
Illustrators are welcome to bring story ideas if they wish, but it’s not required.
Will I finish a complete book pitch?
Yes — the course is designed to guide you step-by-step toward at least one finished picture book dummy,, along with several additional portfolio pieces you can develop later.
What happens after I book?
Once you’ve booked your place, you’ll receive confirmation of your spot.

What happens if the course sells out?
We limit Picture Perfect to 40 participants to keep the course interactive and manageable.

While we cannot guarantee individual feedback for every participant, we will provide feedback to selected Artists.
Can I use the story I create for publication later?
Yes. All participants retain full copyright of their work.
The stories you develop during the course are entirely yours to refine, submit, or publish in the future.
How much time should I expect to spend on the course each week?
