“Talent Tap was such a fun and inspiring experience! It was the perfect mix of challenge and creativity!”
“I absolutely loved taking part in Talent Tap! The structure kept me motivated, and it was amazing to see my work evolve over the weeks.”
Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.
Talent Tap is our exclusive global talent search. It’s structured as a 6-week guided portfolio-building workshop, where illustrators respond to a series of creative briefs, with the chance to be represented by Illustrate It Agency.
If you wish to judge if your work will be a good fit, please look at products already on shelves (eg, stationery, gift and home decor), and ask yourself if your work is at this standard. If it is, then we would love to hear from you!
Absolutely! You can send us a direct submission by following the guidelines on our submissions page on our website. Please note - whilst our talent tap workshop is running, submissions from our participants are our top priority.
Not in the traditional sense. Talent Tap is a structured opportunity to build a market-ready portfolio while directly showcasing your work to our agency. Participants will have our full attention and responses to the weekly briefs go to our priority submissions mailbox!
No. All work must be created specifically for Talent Tap to ensure fairness and originality. Plus, we are going to tell you exactly what we are looking for!
Yes! We encourage the sharing of your progress (of your own work) on social media with our official hashtag. However, this is optional. You will get a new hashtag to use each week with the brief.
To be considered for representation, you must complete and submit your response to all 5 of the creative briefs before the weekly deadline. Missing a deadline may impact your eligibility.
If selected as one of our chosen Artists, you will be offered representation by Illustrate It Agency, where we’ll help you secure licensing, commissions, and publishing opportunities. For a full list of how we work with our Artists and what they get, please see our Artists page on our website.
While we cannot guarantee individual feedback for every participant, we will provide feedback to all shortlisted Artists.
Unfortunately, we do not have time to provide reviews/feedback on your work before you enter our talent search - maybe we will offer portfolio reviews in the future though.
The workshop starts on Monday 2nd June 2025, and runs for 4 weeks. The doors are open for registration in early May.
