Vendela Vrensk is a Swedish illustrator living in Gijón, in Asturias in northen Spain. In her work, strong lines and shapes inspired by her Scandinavian upbringing fuses with the delicious Spanish color palette that surrounds her. Add a pinch of retro, a splash of humour and a whole lot of nice textures and you’re ready to listen to the stories Vendela likes to tell with her art.

Vendela loves creating cool and quirky characters, doing hand lettering, or lush florals. And to her, the only thing that beats a great cup of coffee is - to draw one!
