Yuhan Lo is a traditional illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Calgary, Canada. Born and raised in Taiwan, she draws endless inspiration from nature and quiet moments in everyday life. Her work blends soft colours, organic shapes, and a painterly style - using watercolour, coloured pencils, and crayons.
Her love for Japanese aesthetics deeply influences her work. After studying and working in Japan for several years, she fell in love with the elegance of traditional packaging, seasonal celebrations, and the subtle beauty of simplicity. These experiences continue to shape her creative voice today.
With a background as a florist, Yuhan often brings petals, leaves, and garden-inspired scenes into her art. She also enjoys illustrating playful and delicate motifs that tell quiet stories and evoke a sense of warmth.
